BBQ Basics Pies & Tarts Summer Supper Party Tuesday Evenings Starting September 16th If your dreams of becoming a spectacular home cook, personal chef, or bed & breakfast owner have been on the back burner, now is your opportunity to turn the flame on high and move that dream forward. Ignite your passion with CSR's 20-week Culinary Skills course designed for individuals who are passionate about food and cooking and committed to discovering and learning new methods and techniques. Working side-by-side with our Professional Chef Instructor, students will spend 4½ hours, one evening a week (90 hours total) in our professionally equipped commercial teaching kitchen. Explore a logical sequence of topics, including professional knife skills, sensory awareness, stocks and soups, sauces, vegetables, fish, poultry, meats, wine and cheeses. Culinary Skills begins Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Tuition is $2,485. Enrollment requirements: Completion of Knife Skills and Basic Cooking Techniques or similar courses highly recommended.
