Across Colorado
Boulder County Boulder County is located in north-central Colorado, about 30 miles northwest of Denver and 35 miles southwest of Rocky Mountain National Park. Although mostly known for the city of Boulder — a charming, active, and livable university town — the surrounding county boasts many diverse organic farms, local food producers, and an award-winning artisanal cheese maker. About Boulder
North Fork Valley Paonia and Hotchkiss are small towns located between Aspen and Telluride in the North Fork River valley on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains. Mount Lamborn, at 11,395 feet, provides a stunning backdrop for this fertile area and the surrounding eight mesas. Vineyards, orchards and organic farms thrive in the river valleys of the West Elks Mountains. The valley has often been compared to the European countryside and recently dubbed “The Golden Triangle” by Forbes Magazine.
