About Culinary School of the Rockies
Founded in 1991, Culinary School of the Rockies, the premier culinary school in the Rocky Mountain region, has attracted a local, regional and national following. The School is located in the beautiful and friendly city of Boulder, Colorado.
The mission of Culinary School of the Rockies is to stimulate learning, growth and transformation. We believe that food offers one of the most important ways to connect with one another. Your educational experience is our most important focus. This commitment is carried through everything we do. We support and encourage our instructors to seek continuing education opportunities and incorporate new trends and ideas into the curriculum.
Specifically, the mission of the Professional Programs at Culinary School of the Rockies is to instruct students who are committed to a career in the culinary arts, and to help them achieve their potential through small class sizes and individualized instruction from a highly professional faculty and staff. Students will acquire the foundational knowledge and skills of cooking and/or baking, sensory awareness and teamwork needed to work with competence and professionalism in a commercial kitchen or in a related culinary field.
Our culinary programs are designed to make efficient use of your time and resources. Our small classes (typically not more than 16 students) enable you to learn better, faster and smarter. Culinary School of the Rockies' carefully planned, well-balanced curriculum gives you the foundation you need to build or advance your career. Our short intensive culinary courses (maximum 6 months) give you solid training and get you into the workplace quickly. We offer lifetime placement assistance.
Thank you for your interest in Culinary School of the Rockies. We encourage you to visit us in person, observe a class in session, talk to our current students and alumni, see our chef instructors in action, and experience for yourself the creativity and originality that is Culinary School of the Rockies.
